Here are just a few of the software programs that you can expect to be reviewed here:
- Drivers Daily Log: I love this program and I mention it in "Over the Road Wireless For Dummies". There wasn't enough room in the book, however, to do justice to the application or it's features. I've done a full review, and I plan on doing a user guide, but, until then, do yourself a favor and download the Drivers Daily Log. By the way, you can find another good review on the Life on the Road blog.
- NAUTILUS In-Cab: So far I'm totally impressed by this program. Nautilus In-Cab advertises itself as a program developed for truckers by truckers. This will be the next review I complete and I'll try to include a bit of a user guide as well. In the meantime you can check out the Life on the Road Nautilus In-Cab review written by Porter Corn.
- The Truckers Helper: This is a complex program full of features. It may be more than the average trucker needs but if you're an owner-operator, fleet owner, or company driver with a penchant for accounting you might want to download the trial version at TruckersHelper.com.
- TruckerTracker™: A log book program that includes the option of including fuel expenses and trip pay information. You can find this program, as well as others, at Dieselboss.com.
The preceding list isn't, by any stretch of the imagination, complete. There are a number of other program applications I'm all set to review including Microsoft Streets and Trips, CoPilot Truck by ALK Technologies, Street Atlas USA by Delorme, and Easy Trucking Software.
