Truck Driving Job Site Directory

On the old site I had written a bunch of drivel relating to finding, getting and keeping a truck driving job. Well, in my 27+ year career I've only driven for four OTR companies and I know drivers who drive for that many companies in one year. Clearly, there's a big difference in my trucking philosophy and theirs or, maybe, yours. Because of that I decided to drop the drivel and just create a directory of truck driving job sites.

If you're the owner of one of these sites you can submit a request to have it included here by visiting the Contact page and sending me an e-mail with the information you'd like to have included with your link. If I approve your site for inclusion I'll send you my information and, once I've verified your back-link, I'll post your information.

Who Will Drive

"Presently, the market isn't behaving as if there was an acute shortage. We've seen no real upswing in wages, especially for owner-operators, and few significant enhancements to the driving job. All this suggests that there's no real pressure on the industry to do something to keep the existing workforce in place, or to attract new drivers into the business. However, with many aspects of the driving job losing their appeal (stricter enforcement, more time away from home, longer waiting periods at shipper's docks, higher U.S. exchange rates, etc.), drivers are beginning to vote with their feet."
