Taking TV on the Road

There are more ways to watch TV on the road than you could shake a stick at. By the way, did you know that a version of the phrase "more...than you can shake a stick at" was, apparantly, first published in an 1818 article in The Lancaster (Pennsylvania) Journal: "We have in Lancaster as many Taverns as you can shake a stick at." The derivation of the phrase has something to do with the counting sticks that shepherds used to count their flocks. The bigger the flock the more often the stick would shake. Eventually, the flock might get so big you couldn't count it, no matter how many times you shook that stick.

Okay, back to something important. I haven't, obviously, begun to build the pages that'll be devoted to enjoying TV broadcasts on the road but, if you check back later you'll find information about satellite TV, TV streamed over the Internet, and devices like SlingBox and HAVA that can send your home TV signal, via the Internet, to any laptop or PC in the world. I really like TV so I'll probably get this section started pretty quick.
